The median annual salary for electrical and electronic engineers was $118,780 in May 2024, according to the BLS. The highest 10% of these professionals earned more than $175,460. Take the industry, for example: The median yearly wage for those working in aerospace product and parts manufacturing was $136,570. The BLS also reports that the median annual salary for computer hardware engineers was $155,020.
